Near to Him in Logan Canyon

We had some rain today and it wasn't until evening that I felt inclined to get out and see what was to be observed in the fabled "half light of the canyon". Indeed, the quote from, A River Runs Through It, often comes to my mind: "But when I am alone in the half light of the canyon all existence seems to fade to a being with my soul and memories..." I am not so concerned about whether a fish will rise, but I do get stoked by what I feel, and see, and know, when I am alone in the half light of the canyon. I also wanted to do a little more experimenting with the new camera. It was an hour well spent. I am constantly amazed at the beauties of the earth, grateful for the gift of sight , and to feel near to the Creator, and I am ever so humbled to be even a small part of it all. I tremble to know that for me He was crucified.
