A Glorious Day at the Logan Temple

Today was a glorious day. I had the opportunity to fill in at the Temple for a friend as an officiator today while he was unable to attend because of a surgery pending tomorrow. It was wonderful to be on the same shift with so many of our good friends form the Bear Lake Valley for a change, I was able to see Merlin and Joann Parker, Darrell Sorenson, Chuck and Elaine Merrill, Kevin and Jocelyn Nield, Terry Willis and Stuart Wamsley, and probably some others that I don't remember at the moment. It is always an inspiration to go to the Temple, and it is a special blessing to be there with so many of our friends who have touched our lives and the lives of our family for good and to know of their devotion and dedication to the cause of Temple Work. They regularly make one or two trips over the mountains every week in all kinds of weather and at all hours of the day and night to fulfill their callings and at their own expense. It is an honor to know each and every one of them and they have touched our lives for good in so many ways and continue to do so.
This evening we decided to take a little tour of the Temple grounds with those who attend our English Class for people from China and Taiwan. Several showed up and we were able feel the special Spirit that is always at the Temple and to explain, in English, some of the history and significance of Temples to us as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and to answer many questions. These are among the best people on the planet and we are honored to know them and to have them in our English Class. I feel strongly that we have been brought together at this time for a very special purpose. Of course, we got some pictures too. Below are some of the photos of our wonderful evening together on the grounds of the Logan Temple. Life is good!
