An Evening With Some of our Young Friends at Tony Grove Lake.
Wednesdays are becoming one of our favorite days of the week. We always look forward to spending some time with our friends from China and Taiwan. This time we even had a young man from India. Our supposed purpose is to help them with their "conversational English" skills, but we have found it goes far beyond that. We recognize more and more each week just how wonderful our brothers and sisters from all over the world really are. They are our friends and we can truly say that we have a great love for them. They are all very bright, mostly highly educated, and eager to learn more, and to share their unique talents and cultures with us. We come to realize even more from day to day that we are all God's children and He loves us all very much and wants us to be happy. I was impressed with this thought last night as we were finishing our little excursion to Tony Grove Lake in Logan Canyon, when one of the beautiful young ladies, who was with us, put her hand near her heart and said: "I feel so happy!" I felt the same way, and I'm sure many in the group had similar feelings. We are not exactly "strangers or foreigners", but all children of a loving Father in Heaven who has led us to be together at this very time and to learn His will for us and to come to know and appreciate one another. Below are just a few of photos taken of our little excursion to Tony Grove Lake, so beautiful in the fall.
