Today was another special day. We had the opportunity to be with Nikki Jackson and his family when he was baptized. He is a very special young man, who has been led by the hand of the Lord to this very day. It has been our privilege to work with them as the entire family has prepared for this day and the rest of their lives. It was inspiring to see Ron Jackson baptize his son, 15 year old Nikki. Our grandson, Mason, is in the same math class as Nikki at Logan High School and they have become good friends. It was good to see these good friends together on Nikki's baptism day, as he made sacred covenants with the Lord. which will help him to be able one day to stand in the presence of the Lord. May God bless you always, Nikki.
The work is moving forward, just as the Savior admonished his disciples to do. We are so blessed to have the restored gospel and priesthood authority to perform these necessary sacred ordinances.
Mathew 8:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord.
When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.
When we shall be forever with the Lord.
When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!
Below are just a few photos to remind of this very special occasion.
